AYURVEDIC HERBAL ARK
- Kashmiri Lavender | Chamomile Hydrosol
- 100% Natural | Herbal | 100% Preservative Free
- Paraben & Sulfates Free | Cruelty Free | Organic
- Stress, Sleep, Anxiety & Relaxation Management Pro
PeacePotion™ is a proudly trademarked formulation created from the distillates of venerated Ayurvedic herbs which provides calmness & reduces anxiety, thereby helping transcend stress & sleep peacefully.
The calm inducing effect of PeacePotion™ is due to its ingredient phytochemicals and bioactive compounds including apigenin, which work by reducing GABA activity. These constituents also effect noradrenalin and dopamine receptors and may also modulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenocortical axis all of which are intricately involved in the stress response of humans. This complex network of hormones and neurotransmitters is responsible for human beings’ various moods, attitudes and emotions that ultimately influence sleep anxiety depression and other psychological functions.
Its star ingredients include chamomile which effectively helps to decrease mild to moderate anxiety and influences GABA receptors to produce a sedative effect; and Lavender which affects acetylcholine (ACh) transmission. ACh is one of the body’s most important neurotransmitters. Linalool has been shown to decrease levels of ACh in the mouse. This is another reason for the anxiolytic and calming effects of lavender. Lavender also has an inhibitory effect on the sympathetic nervous system (SNS), via the activation of histamine receptors.
The SNS is our ‘fight, fright and flight’ mechanism, which is switched on when we are under threat. When we are stressed or anxious, the SNS is stuck in overdrive. Lavender has a calming effect on the SNS.
- PeacePotion™ stimulates the GABA neurotransmitter pathway.
PeacePotion™’s properties are due to the action of lavender which has a ‘damping-down’ effect, that helps control and reduces anxiety. It has been shown to affect several different nerve transmission pathways. Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a chemical-messenger molecule, acting within the brain, peripheral and autonomic nerves. GABA triggers the activation of GABA receptors found on the surface of nerve and brain cells.
Activating a receptor is like switching on a switch. Once ‘switched on,’ the shape of the GABA receptor is slightly altered, reducing the ability for ions to pass in or out of the cell. This reduces the ability of the neuron to function. Resultantly, the nerves quieten and become generally less excitable.
Therefore lavender, by activating GABA receptors, has a calming effect on the nervous system. Benzodiazepines such as diazepam, frequently used to calm anxiety, work by activating the same receptors.
Various studies on the effects of lavender indicated that lavender significantly decreases depression, improves the quality and treatment of sleep disorders. This study indicates that lavender effectively ameliorates generalized anxiety comparable to 0.5 mg/daily lorazepam. Alleviation of anxiety and mood improvement were reported in thirty-six patients admitted to an intensive care unit,
A 2005 American study reported the effects of lavender on the sleep cycle. In both men and women, lavender increased the percentage of slow-wave (deep) sleep. In women, the use of lavender increased stage 2-light sleep and decreased REM sleep. The length of time to the first waking in the night in women (wake after first onset sleep latency) was also increased.

25% of Profits for Social Welfare
BESTINDIAN™ SETS ASIDE 25% OF ALL ANNUAL PROFITS FOR SOCIAL WELFARE
Exceedingly high amount of money is spent on advertising and publicity by the world’s Beautycare and Perfumes brands for the promotion of their products. The United States is the largest advertising market in the world, with ad spending amounting to 250 billion U.S. dollars in 2020. Advertising expenditure (AdEx) in India is expected to grow 15.5% to reach ₹1,46,450 crore in 2023. By 2024, India is projected to spend $14.8 billion.
On an average, companies spend 15% - 25% of their annual revenue for their marketing budget. The amount of capital and resources that almost all companies and businesses spend every year on hiring celebrities as brand ambassadors for advertising their products, can launch help numerous interplanetary space missions by ISRO, help protect environment by reforestation, and provide jobs for millions.
Imagine a world where, instead of competing with each other on the basis of how much they spend for their respective advertising, the companies competed on how much they have spent for social welfare and for the betterment of the earth. This is the kind of world that BestIndian™ is creating!
25% OF PROFITS FROM THE SALE OF EVERY PRODUCT BOUGHT BY YOU WOULD BE UTILIZED FOR THE FOLLOWING CAUSES:
(1) To provide employment to Indian youth by setting up Studios for animation & filmmaking in India:
Digital Content in general, and animation in particular have immense potential for generating employment. BestIndian™ plans on starting animation and film studios in smaller towns, particularly in the neglected regions of India. Youth from the hinterland should be provided equal career opportunities and awareness as those from the metropolitan cities, to help prevent migration.
(2) To set up animal rescue shelters for the helpless stray and abandoned animals including cows, dogs, mules etc:
India had always been known for the beautiful and harmonious coexistence between humans and numerous animal species. However, in recent times there has been a rapid rise in human-animal conflicts. Helpless stray and abandoned animals need to be treated with empathy, and at the same time safety of vulnerable humans including children and the elderly needs to be taken into account. BestIndian™ plans to set up animal rescue, welfare and rehabilitation centres, in all those Indian towns which lack this facility.
(3) To create more urban forests in India by planting native Indian fruit and Ayurvedic trees.
Rapid and often unplanned urbanization has resulted in an India urban scape which is devoid of greenery. Unless cities include development of nature in their development plans, Indian cities would continue suffering intense heat waves, dust storms, unbreathable winter air, smog, etc. BestIndian™ has created #AtalVatika, an urban forest In Dehradun, by planting numerous native Indian trees, and plans to create numerous more such Vatikas in as many cities and towns as possible.
BestIndian™ is a medium for change and believes in all round development of all sections of the society, protection of nature, conservation of wildlife, and empathy for animals. BestIndian™ doesn’t believe in advertising on television or in buying followers on social media, and refuses to hire the services of Celebrities, Actors, or cricketers as the BestIndian™ brand ambassadors. BestIndian™ doesn’t send out free sample products to get favourable reviews by influencers.
BestIndian™ has made a name for itself on its inherent merits, and has earned its goodwill and reputation due to the quality of its products and user satisfaction, instead of resorting to artificial brand building by paid promotion of the brand.
Companies compete on the lines of “Our company’s Brand Ambassador celebrity is bigger than our competitor’s”, or “We have more social media followers than our competitor”, etc. BestIndian™ requests companies to compete on the basis of the amount spent by them on social welfare.

Lavender
Lavender is approved by the European
Medicines Agency (EMA) as a herbal medicine to relieve stress and anxiety, as it exerts receptor binding affinities with a relevant activity on the NMDA receptor. The anti-agitation and antidepressant activities of lavender (lavandula angustifolia) are attributed to the NMDA receptor modulation as well as an inhibition of the SERT.Lavender stimulates the receptors in the olfactory
bulb and transmits the olfactory message to the limbic system. The limbic system is the sensory center in the brain that can secrete enkephalin, endorphins, and serotonin in response to stress and create a sense of relaxation. The main components of lavender are identified as Linalole, Limonene, Perillyl alcohol, Linalile acetate, Cis smine, Terpene, coumarin tannin, caffeic acid, and camphor.
Linalool acts as a sedative by influencing the aminobutyric acid receptors in the central nervous system. It contains flavonoid compounds, influencing the benzodiazepine receptors. Lavender exerts its psychological effects by acting on the limbic
system, especially the amygdala and hippocampus.
Lavender has a similar function to benzodiazepines and increases GABA in the amygdala.Know More :-

Chamomile
Chamomile
(Matricaria recutita) exerts its psychotropic effects via neuromodulation. Its flavonoid constituents produce anxiolytic activity by affecting γ-amino butyric acid (GABA), noradrenalin (NA), dopamine (DA), and serotonin neurotransmission, or by modulating hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenocortical axis function. Chamomile has sedative effects because apigenin binds to benzodiazepine receptors and potentiates the activity at GABA A receptors. Apigenin also stimulates
uptake of tyrosine, resulting in increased monoamine production, and also
inhibits the MAO enzyme, further increasing the availability of monoamines.
Increase in serotonin may especially be related to its anxiolytic effects. Active
component of chamomile contains terpenoids (bisoprolol, matricin,
and chamazulene), flavonoids (luteolin, rutin,
and apigenin), hydroxycoumarins, and mucilages. The safety and tolerability of chamomile are excellent making it a viable choice for assisting with calming the nerves and promoting rest and sleep.Know More :-
